Mine arrived prior to the snow falling so I had to wait to put them to the temperature test. These are NOT my North Face ThermoBall boots. They are warm and cuddly and surprisingly light. I’m not sure how much built-in support is part of the design but my ThermoBalls, they’re one of the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. Sneaker or boot? I am not sure and pretty sure it doesn’t matter. They remind me of these Nikes, without the laces. The ThermoBall looks a bit like a sneaker, all black with a sporty wedge along the bottom. It seems like it’s been stitched-up all sturdy and won’t rip off over time. If you are wearing thick socks or the boots are a bit tight, there is a loop at the back of the ankle you can grab to pull the boots up.
